Mobile Physiotherapy & Allied Health — Sydney CBD

In-home and workplace allied health across Sydney CBD. Prefer in-clinic? Our Castlereagh Street clinic is one minute from Town Hall and St James stations.

Our Sydney CBD clinic is on the ground floor of Myhealth Medical Centre at 151 Castlereagh Street — between Town Hall and St James stations, a minute from QVB. For people working in the city it’s almost always faster to walk to us than to drive anywhere. For people who can’t walk, our mobile team comes to apartments, offices and hotel rooms across the CBD.

Most of what we treat in the CBD is the predictable mix of working-age, office-based problems: neck and shoulders from screens, lower back from sitting, hand and wrist issues from too much typing, and the gym injuries people pick up trying to undo it all at lunchtime.

Workplace and hotel visits in the CBD

A lot of CBD bookings come from people who can’t take an hour out of the office for a clinic visit. We solve that two ways. First, the clinic is set up for lunch-hour appointments — 30-minute follow-ups, fast turnaround, walking distance from most office buildings. Second, where leaving the desk isn’t an option, we visit you there: a meeting room, a quiet corner, sometimes the floor of the office gym if there is one.

For international visitors and corporate-travel patients, we also do hotel visits. Sydney hotels are used to allied health professionals coming in to treat guests; we bring a portable plinth, photo ID, and discretion.

Ergonomic and posture work — done properly

Half the people in the CBD have been told to "fix their posture." Almost none of them know what that actually means or whether it would change anything. The honest answer is that posture is less important than people think; what matters far more is the volume of any one position, the frequency of changing position, and how strong the supporting muscles are. We do a proper ergonomic assessment as part of treatment when it’s relevant rather than as a standalone service to upsell.

Most people sitting through a CBD working week aren’t suffering because their chair is wrong. They’re suffering because they spend eight hours doing one thing and then 45 minutes trying to undo it at the gym. The cheapest, fastest intervention is usually a working pattern adjustment, not a new piece of furniture.

FAQ

Common questions from Sydney CBD patients

Can I get a 30-minute lunch appointment?

Yes — for follow-ups, 30-minute slots between 11:30am and 1:30pm are the busiest part of our CBD week. Initial assessments need a full hour.

Do you have parking nearby?

There’s paid parking in the building and at several large garages within a few minutes’ walk. Most CBD patients arrive by foot or public transport rather than driving.

Can you visit my office?

Yes — workplace visits are common. We come with a portable plinth and equipment, and we can do an ergonomic walk-through if your employer wants one.

Do you treat overseas visitors with travel insurance?

Yes. Most international travel-insurance policies cover physiotherapy with a receipt. We provide the standard documentation needed for the claim.
