Mobile Physiotherapy & Allied Health — Penrith
Mobile physiotherapy, occupational therapy and speech pathology delivered to your home in Penrith. NDIS, aged care, post-hospital and private patients welcome.
Penrith is the centre of gravity for healthcare across the western corridor — Penrith Hospital, Nepean, and a dense network of GP clinics, paediatricians and specialists. We work alongside many of them. Our Caddens clinic is a few minutes east of the CBD, which makes it the obvious option if you’d rather come to us; the mobile team covers the suburb six days a week if you can’t.
A lot of our Penrith work sits in three buckets: tradies whose backs and shoulders are starting to push back, older residents post-knee or hip replacement, and NDIS participants whose Plan Managers are based locally. None of those groups need the same therapy, but they share a preference: be on time, do what you said you’d do, and don’t make them drive into the city.
What in-home physio looks like in Penrith
A first home visit usually runs 45–60 minutes. We park on the street or in the driveway, ring the bell at the agreed time, and bring everything we need — a portable plinth, resistance bands, balance equipment, and an iPad for any video work. The work happens in your kitchen, hallway or wherever you’ve been managing the problem.
For older residents, the home environment is where the real safety questions live: the step into the laundry, the rug at the front door, the bathroom that wasn’t designed for someone using a walking aid. We can fix some of those with a quick review and a referral to a handyman; bigger changes need an OT and a builder, and we can coordinate that too.
Working with Nepean Hospital discharges
Penrith Hospital and Nepean Private both discharge patients home with active rehab needs every day. We accept post-discharge referrals from social workers and outpatient teams across both hospitals. Where you’ve come home with a written exercise program, we’ll continue it — or, if it isn’t working for your setup, we’ll rebuild it around the equipment and space you actually have.
Common questions from Penrith patients
Can you visit during work hours so I don’t miss a shift?
Yes — early and late appointments are usually available across the week. Tell us at intake which days and times work, and we’ll match you to a clinician with that pattern.
Do you cover Cranebrook, Werrington and St Marys too?
Yes — those suburbs are well within the Penrith catchment. We also visit Kingswood, Cambridge Park, Claremont Meadows and Jordan Springs from the same area.
I’ve got an NDIS plan through a Plan Manager in Penrith — does that change anything?
No. We invoice your Plan Manager directly and they pay us from your plan. You don’t need to handle the money side at all.
Is your Caddens clinic easier than driving into the city?
Almost certainly. Caddens is 5–10 minutes from most Penrith addresses, has free undercover parking, and bypasses everything frustrating about getting to a CBD clinic.
